Audi Q1 Forum
Based on the Audi Q1 test mules previously spotted, Italian publication Omniauto has come out with a rendering.
The Q1 takes on the family design, resembling that of its big brother – the Q7. The front gets the big six-slat chrome grille and sleek headlights that are expected to receive optional LED headlights with DRLs. Previously, the Audi Q1 was spied with the rear sporting a tailgate-mounted spoiler, wraparound tail lights and twin exhausts
The Audi Q1 is being prepared for launch in 2016 to challenge the likes of the BMW X1, Mercedes GLA and Range Rover Evoque. And although based on cut-n-shut Q3 hardware, it’s said to have a different enough design to dodge any matrioshka doll criticisms.
Developed under the internal codename AU276, the new Q1 is in essence a rebodied short-wheelbase Q3, when the Q1 was first confirmed for launch in 2016.
Vauxhall Viva Forum
Vauxhall will launch an all-new five-door entry-level model called Viva in Summer next year, the local vauxhall dealer in Manchester is already gearing up to recieve the viva during the early summer.
The Viva will be the latest edition to Vauxhall’s small car range joining the fashionable A-sector ADAM and the popular Corsa supermini.
Offering an extremely attractive price point, the Viva will have a five-door body style with either four or five seats. Viva will be well specified and come in a range of trims and equipment levels, which will hold great appeal in this rapidly growing sector.
“This bold, radical name will attract attention and engender curiosity in the car,” said Peter Hope, Vauxhall’s Marketing Director.
The five-door model’s name also pays homage to Vauxhall’s original Viva available from 1963 to 1979. Over 1.5 million Vivas were manufactured at Vauxhall’s plant in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire.
Designed for modern, everyday life, the all-new model will share the original’s clean lines, durability and practicality.

BMW M2 Forum
The 2016 BMW M2 makes an appearance late night on the Autobahn. The black painted M2 test mule was spotted near Munich and the close up photos give us a closer look at the proportions of the new compact M car. The most striking feature of these spy photos is always the considerably wider wheel arches and wider track which features front and rear axle suspension technology from the BMW M4 Coupe and BMW M3 Sedan.
The direct steering of the middle-class athletes, the brake system and the M differential lock on the rear axle, are almost unchanged in the M2 in order to give the new M car unparallelled dynamics. Our M2 Forum should provide you with all the information you need whether you are looking to buy or just taking a look at the next high performance stablemate from BMW. Our local BMW dealer in Nottingham is expecting to recieve some details on the new M2 sometime towards the end of this year.
BMW S1000xr Forum
XR: a cross between an adventure bike and a sport bike.
Here’s the perfect BMW motorcycle for those who want the dynamic performance of a sport machine, the versatility of an adventure bike and the comfort of a touring motorcycle. The new S 1000 XR combines the very best of these worlds to create something completely new: the first ever adventure-sport bike made by BMW Motorrad; perfect for everyone in search of a sporty ride that knows no bounds.
Hot fusion. The design.
The S 1000 XR is exceptional – and that’s exactly what it looks like. As a synthesis of sport and adventure it unites the power of the S 1000 R with the upright seating position of the GS. No matter where you go on the XR, all eyes will be on you.
The best of both worlds: the technology.
As a cross between an adventure bike and a sport bike, the S 1000 XR draws on the full range of experience BMW Motorrad has in these categories. The sport engine of the S 1000 R with its 160 horsepower at 11,000 rpm and 83 lb-ft of torque at 9,250 rpm is combined with the seating concept of the GS series to create a motorcycle that is at home on every road.
Absolutely unique: fittings and accessories.
As an adventure-sport bike, the S 1000 XR is highly versatile by its very nature, and can be perfectly adapted to the rider’s individual preferences with optional extras. The HP Shift Assistant Pro minimizes clutch use between setting off and stopping, making every gear shift faster and easier. Electronic suspension control via Dynamic ESA ensures optimum suspension performance. And those who want to get the very most out of their bike will opt for the Pro riding modes – available from BMW Motorrad for the first time – with two highly dynamic set-ups, plus ABS Pro for maximum braking safety in the curves.
The exceptional S 1000 XR concept combines two entirely distinct types of motorcycles for the first time. Experience it for yourself: the S 1000 XR is looking forward to a test ride with you.
BMW R1200rs Forum
The new BMW Motorrad BMW R1200RS is a boxer roadster with a big brain. It used to be that rain could ruin a motorcycle’s riding introduction, but not with this bike. With the abilities of the new BMW Motorrad R1200R, a day in the rain just doesn’t matter. You simply push the “Rain” button and go. Well, that, and try not to be a complete idiot; it does still only have two wheels.
BMW’s GS models are hugely popular with enthusiasts and motojournalists, but the new R1200R just might change that. For those desiring a sportier, simpler, sweeter-looking, more-street boxer, the R1200R is a smart alternative. BMW Motorrad’s concept of the R1200R is all roadster, harking back to the company’s R32 roots while reaching forward into the all that today’s rider assists offer. It’s a slim, chopped, barebones bike, with only the material essentials. Plus, yeah, a few other things. Like the highly appreciated heated grips.
Africa Twin Forum
Some motorcycles encapsulate perfectly what an adventure motorcycle is all about. The original XRV650 Africa Twin – which debuted in 1988, after the first 3 out of 4 consecutive wins at the Paris-Dakar* – was one such machine. Its go-anywhere ability, rugged durability, easy-handling agility and all-day comfort made it the perfect partner with which to explore. And it helped to define a motorcycling segment that has now grown into one of the most popular worldwide. The new Africa Twin remains true to all the attributes and abilities of the XRV650 and its successor the XRV750, while adding the benefits of everything Honda has learnt on and off-road over the last decade, including Team HRC’s return to the Dakar in 2013**.
Furthermore, in a first for the category, the Africa Twin will feature the option of a new evolution of Honda’s Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) *** technology, which remains unique to Honda in motorcycling. This latest evolution of DCT has been specifically developed and programmed to provide the off-road ability with which the Africa Twin is synonymous.
The all-new CRF1000L Africa Twin is set to redefine expectations of just what a large-capacity adventure motorcycle can and should be capable of, both on and off-road, and opens an entirely new chapter in Honda’s illustrious history of dual-purpose motorcycles made for true adventure.
The Niro is part of Kia’s push to create a greener lineup through 2020, and the model packs a dedicated hybrid powertrain.Earlier reports suggest that it consists of a 1.6-liter four-cylinder and 47-horsepower electric motor with a 1.56-kWh battery. A six-speed dual-clutch gearbox will likely put the power to the road.
Kia’s styling centers in California and Namyang, South Korea, are responsible for the Niro’s look. The designers use a narrow version of the company’s tiger-nose grille for this CUV, but the high-mounted headlights create a clear family resemblance to the latest Sportage. The roofline appears to have a coupe-like arch, and the rear gets nearly rectangular taillights that angle into the hatch.
If the Niro name sounds familiar, that’s because Kia first used it on a slightly bulbous crossover concept at the 2013Frankfurt Motor Show. You’ll have to wait a month for all the details, but until then, enjoy the teasers and press release below.
Check out the brand new Kia Niro Forum
Hyundai has somewhat optimistically coined the term HUV, or Hybrid Utility Vehicle, for the car and it will indeed be the first small SUV crossover to reach the market that uses a hybrid powertrain. At 4,355mm long it fits between the Soul and new Sportage insize.
BMW Scrambler Forum
Success will depend on BMW being able to hit the right price point, but dealers suggest that this is at the forefront of BMW’s plan. While the base model could cost as little as £7000, it’s likely that the BMW Scrambler will cost more like £8000, along with the other pre-styled version, which MCN believes will be a more café-racer orientated offering.
There’s little doubt that the excitement and immediate sales success of Ducati’s £6895–£7995 Scrambler will have been the driving force for BMW to rush out their take on the genre ahead of its siblings, but the arrival order post-Scrambler is less clear. It would seem likely that the other two models will arrive simultaneously during 2016, although possibly as late as the big European shows in the Autumn.
Alfa Romeo Giulia Forum
The all-new Alfa Romeo Giulia has been unveiled to the international media on the 105th anniversary of the founding of A.L.F.A. (Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili) at a special event in the newly-refurbished Alfa Romeo Museum – “La macchina del tempo” – in Arese, Italy, in the presence of some of the most significant cars in automotive history.
Developed by a Skunkworks of the best engineers, designers and stylists within FCA, the new Giulia embodies the core elements which have made Alfa Romeo one of the world’s best-loved automotive brands – distinctive Italian design; innovative powertrains, perfect weight distribution, unique technical solutions and the best weight-to-power ratio.
The taut and compact proportions of the Giulia have evolved from its all-new, rear-wheel drive architecture (all-wheel drive will also be available). With the engine and major mechanical components arranged between the axles to ensure perfect 50/50 weight distribution, the Giulia has very short overhangs, a long bonnet and muscular haunches, while the wheelbase is longest in its segment to maximise stability, comfort and practicality.
Audi Q2 Forum
The 2016 Audi Q2 is coming and we know it. The latest spy shots have confirmed the existence of the vehicle. However, it was earlier referred to as the Q1, but now the company has decided to change it to the Q2 for undisclosed reasons. This suggestion implies that the naming rights for Q2 and Q4 with Fiat/Alfa Romeo must have been settled.

Fiat Fullback Forum
FIAT Professional has unveiled the all-new FIAT Fullback pick-up truck at the 2015 Dubai International Motor Show. The new, medium-duty pick-up will join the award-winning FIAT Professional range in autumn 2016 and will be available only with a practical double cab body style configuration in the UK making it an ideal vehicle for both commercial and leisure time activities.
Measuring up to 1,780mm in height, 1,815 mm in width and 5,285mm in length, with a wheelbase of 3,000mm, the new FIAT Fullback will offer a competitive payload of 1,045 kg and will be powered by a 2.4-litre, aluminium, turbo-diesel engine with a power output of either 150hp or 180hp. The new FIAT Fullback Forum islive and the new Fullback will be available in the UK in two trim levels with pricing and specifications to be announced closer to the vehicle’s launch in autumn 2016. The Fullback is FIAT Professional’s first contender in the medium-duty pick-up truck segment in the EMEA region, which totalled 675,000 units in 2014 representing 23% of total sales in the LCV segment.
Suzuki Baleno Forum
In Suzuki’s case the existing, smaller model is its strong-selling and well-received Swift (which accounts for almost 40 per cent of the company’s UK sales). If you so much as sigh that you can’t get your growing kids into a Swift, within 50 paces of a Suzuki dealer, you’ll be offered a Baleno.
The Baleno – is it me, or does that name sound far too much like baloney? – goes on sale in the UK next May, priced between £12,000 and £14,000. But this Indian-built, five-door hatchback faces strong competition from just about everyone, with the Ford Fiesta, Vauxhall Corsa, Skoda Fabia andHyundai i20 just four that immediately spring to mind.
There will be two engines to choose from: Suzuki’s 89bhp 1.2-litre four-cylinder and a new 110bhp 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbo. These are linked to a five-speed manual gearbox as standard, with each getting an automatic option (a continuously variable transmission in the case of the 1.2, and a natty six-speed conventional automatic with the 1.0).
In addition, the 1.2 gets an optional mild hybrid system, which basically uses the car’s deceleration to charge a battery under the floor via a starter/generator. It’s expected to cost around £700 and reduce CO2 from 101 to 93g/km, saving owners £20 a year in annual VED; hmm, that’s a lot of years before you’re in profit.

Seat Ateca Forum
The muscular exterior emulates an athletic figure with precise detailing and refined lines to create a perfect profile. Every single exterior design element works together to create a phenomenal sculptured figure with a great depth of passion.
The Seat Ateca has been designed to strict dynamic proportions. 20-inch wheels are supported by a long 2791 mm wheelbase and supported by a 1648 mm wide track in the front with 1638 mm in the rear, all brought together by a taut straight roofline.
The front end of the Seat Ateca features the X-shape as a fundamental design element. The V-shape of the bonnet and the grille embody dynamic performance and forward momentum. The inverted V shaped front bumper conveys firm road presence, exuding stability and robustness. The full-LED headlamps also convey a distinctive character, their focus appears distant, their expression determined and powerful.
The rear design also picks up the X reference. The lines are more subtle, as expressed by the deep tailgate and the strong rear bumper. The rear lights possess the characteristic triangular form used in a number of the Seat Ateca design details. Learn more on our Seat Ateca Forum available for all future owners and fans alike.
Porsche 718 Series
Porsche has confirmed the facelifted Boxster and Cayman will be powered by four-cylinder turbocharged engines, discuss both models on the the Porsche 718 Boxster Forum and Porsche 718 Cayman Forum respectively when they arrive next year.
The new name is a reference to the Porsche 718 of the 1950s. It was the successor to the 550 Spyder and used four-cylinder engines with great success – a 718 RSK won its class at the 1958 24 Hours of Le Mans endurance race.

As well as the name change the range has also be reversed too – just like the 911 range, the drop-top Boxster will be positioned above the hardtop Cayman. Porsche has made the switch as both cars already offer technical similarities and in the future both will have equally powerful engines.
The new flat-four turbo engines have been introduced in a move to drive down CO2 emissions, the Stuttgart-based sports car firm will introduce turbocharged flat-four boxer engines for the first time in the Cayman and Boxster.

Boxster and Cayman boss Dr Stefan Wechbach told Auto Express at the Frankfurt Motor Show the move to smaller capacity turbocharged engines has been prompted by emissions, although turbo engines will: “offer the advantages our customers want: performance, acceleration, high speed and torque”.
It’s unclear whether Porsche will continue to offer six-cylinder engines in the Cayman and Boxster range, but Wechbach hinted feedback on the existing Cayman GT4 and Boxster Spyder’s 3.8-litre naturally aspirated engine was “overwhelming”. Porsche is believed to be considering continuing to offer six-cylinder engines for the hottest variants of the new Cayman and Boxster.
SEAT ARAN Forum
It appears that SEAT could be about to name the first SUV in their lineup after the Pyrenean valley, in line with their product naming policy.
Monitering the internet constantly, our spies detected the reporting of SEAT registering the Aran moniker with the expected crossover thought to be based on the 20v20 concept the most likely recipient.
The name was probably derived from the Val d’Aran, which can be found in the Pyrenees, located on the border with France. More information is available on the SEAT Aran Forum
KIA Niro Forum
Next year, Kia plans to begin delivering the Kia Niro, an all-new hybrid SUV.
Kia said it designed the Niro from “the ground up as a dedicated hybrid” to satisfy two growing markets: low emission vehicles and compact SUVs. The Niro is also one of the first vehicles to be
launched under Kia’s new green car initiative, which includes plans for six other models to be added over the next five years.
Our KIA Niro Forum should provide you with any further information you need.
A “downsized hybrid platform” will be powering the Niro, with electrification from a single 32-kilowatt electric motor and a 1.56 kilowatt-hour lithium-polymer battery pack. The 1.6-liter Kappa gasoline engine features direct injection and an output of 104 horsepower, with a six-speed dual clutch
Skoda Kodiak Forum
Skoda plans to introduce a brand new midsized SUV next year.
The model has been rumored for a while on the Skoda Kodiak Forum UK, but now, it seems that the Czech-based automaker is putting the final touches. The crossover is believed to be based on the second-gen Volkswagen Tiguan riding on the German group’s flexible MQB platform, used on various VAG products since 2012.AutoBild reports that the new Skoda SUV, known as the Snowman until now, will wear the Kodiak moniker, named after a subspecies of the brown bear. The vehicle should be approximately 4.75 meters long and its starting price is expected to start from around €24,000 ($26,190.
A different report, from Worldcarfans this time, which is quoting “a source close to Skoda”, indicates that the new Skoda Kodiak will make its public debut next October, during the 2016 Paris Motor Show. The model should be produced at the Kvasiny facility, in the Czech Republic, and be offered in two versions, with a five-seat and with a seven-seat layout.
Toyota C-HR Forum
Set to rival the Nissan Juke and Honda HR-V, the Toyota C-HR Forum indicates that the (production-spec name unconfirmed) will be based on Toyota’s New Global Architecture (TNGA), which is claimed to offer “precise steering and supple suspension”. According to its chief engineer, the Toyota C-HR will focus on distinctive styling instead of practicality, and will not be too toned-down from the C-HR concept.
The report suggests that the C-HR will borrow the hybrid setup from the 2016 Toyota Prius, which combines a 1.8-liter engine with an electric motor. Total system output is 121 hp, reportedly, which will be put to the ground via a CVT. Another option is the smaller 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine, sourced from the Japanese-market Toyota Auris, which is capable of 114 hp and 184 Nm of torque.
After two Toyota-badged concepts and the equivalent Scion, the C-HR crossover is just about ready to show its production face and hop onto the growing crossover bandwagon. It will happen several weeks from now at NAIAS in Detroit and will be offered with a hybrid arrangement and also with a turbocharged gasoline engine.
The model will ride on the TNGA that has underpinned the latest Prius and in hybrid guise will have a combined 121 horsepower coming from a 1.8-liter and an electric motor. It will be about 14 hp weaker than the Prius and will send the power to the road through a continuously variable transmission. If you would rather have the regular model, it will allegedly come with a turbocharged 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder motor from the JDM-spec Auris where it’s rated at 114 hp and 136 pound-feet of torque
Ssangyong Tivoli Forum
Korean brand SsangYong is a relative minnow in the UK market, but it has carved a niche for itself by building big, tough SUVs and MPVs that invariably offer a lot of equipment and metal for the money. The SsangYong Tivoli is its latest model, but if you’re expecting more of the same, think again.
The Tivoli represents a subtle shift in focus for SsangYong. It slots into the burgeoning B-segment crossover market where a growing glut of supermini-sized cars with SUV styling are battling for a slice of an expanding pie.
Key players like the Nissan Juke, Peugeot 2008 and Renault Captur offer urban nimbleness and efficiency twinned with bold 4×4-inspired lines, and the Tivoli attempts to do likewise.
Not only is the Tivoli the smallest SangYong yet, it’s also intended to be the first one you might buy for emotional reasons as well as practical ones relating to space, specification and price. It’s a SsangYong that’s trying to be cool.
December 16, 2015 – A new rendering of Hyundai Motor’s all-new IONIQ hints at how the innovative, alternative-fuel compact vehicle, which is due for launch in early 2016, will combine head-turning good looks with class-leading aerodynamic performance.
Hyundai Motor has confirmed that the Hyundai IONIQ Forum will be the world’s first car to offer a choice of three efficient and ultra-low-emission powertrains: full electric, plug-in gasoline / electric hybrid, or gasoline / electric hybrid. With a sleek, coupe-like silhouette and numerous eye-catching details, its confident design is a match for its bold environmental credentials.
The IONIQ will deliver a fun and responsive driving experience, while also meeting the needs of those wishing to reduce the impact their motoring has on the environment. Hyundai Motor’s designers have therefore created an exterior design that is rich in emotional appeal, as well as making a significant contribution to meeting the car’s environmentally-focused brief.
Simple, carefully wrought contours minimize wind resistance and assist the efficient management of airflow around the exterior. At the front, familiar Hyundai design themes are evident notably the signature hexagonal grille, which is also topped by an attractive gloss-black element that extends outwards to meet distinctive new headlamps featuring integrated ‘C’-position lights. The exterior color choice adds to the car’s allure, formulated to be evocative of fog about to lift.

The same 2.0-litre petrol also comes in SLC 300 form, which has an output of 245hp and the 9G automatic gearbox as standard. Then there’s the 2.1-litre diesel SLC 250 d, which has 204hp and CO2 emissions of 114g/km.
Atop the range is the Mercedes-AMG CLS 43, which has a 3.0-litre V6 biturbo with 367hp and 520Nm of torque. 0-62mph takes 4.7 seconds and the top speed is electronically limited to 155mph. Meanwhile CO2 emissions come in at 178g/km – a saving of 20g/km on the outgoing SLK 55 AMG.
